A different kind of group

Use story and play to make room for the whole picture.

The Rhythm Between is an adult AuDHD therapeutic Dungeons & Dragons group that uses collaborative storytelling and play to explore the push and pull of AuDHD.
In the Realm of the Shardheart, your party will create characters, make choices, face challenges, and shape a shared story. There is space for creativity, connection, reflection, and the relief of being understood without needing to explain every part of yourself.
This is not about performing well at a game. It is a supportive, neurodivergent-affirming space to show up as you are and explore what matters to you.
At the table

What we may explore together

Each week, the party gathers for a shared adventure. The game gives young people a low-pressure way to try out choices, relationships, and problem-solving while staying grounded in a story they create together.
01 — CONNECTION

Finding Your Party

Build relationships through shared interests, cooperative play, and a story that belongs to everyone at the table.
02 — POSSIBILITY

Trying Things On

Use character choices and story moments to explore identity, values, boundaries, and different ways of responding.
03 — REFLECTION

Making Meaning

Notice what comes up in the game and how those moments may connect with life outside the table.
